The DRD Christmas Spectacular is a highly anticipated variety show staged

at the Manchester Arts Center as a fundraiser for Millennium Repertory Company. 
Filled with dances of all styles, vocal performances, comedy skits, and dramatic
readings, the Christmas Spectacular is a fun filled way to kick of the holiday season.

Audition Date: Sunday, July 19th

1:00 - 1:30: Ages 7 - 10
2:00 - 2:30: Ages 11 - 14
3:00 - 3:30: Ages 15 and up

• All female dancers please wear skin tone tights, jazz apparel jazz shoes.

• All male dancers please wear black shorts/pants, a solid colored shirt, and jazz shoes.

• All dancers please have your hair pulled away from your face, and remove all jewelry

• Please arrive in time to complete an audition form, prepare, and warm-up on your own.  We will begin with skills and learning a combo at the start time of your age group.

• Please bring a COMPLETE list of all conflicts you will have on Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 1 through Nov. 30.  If cast, we will do our best to accommodate your conflicts.  But please know that there is limited rehearsal time for this production, so availability will considered in casting.

Casting will be announced by Monday, July 20th on the Duck River Dance Facebook page.

 

Rehearsals will begin Saturday, August 11th.

Tech week: Nov. 30 - Dec. 3

 

• Rehearsals will take place within the hours of Saturdays 2:00 - 7:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 - 6:00 pm.

• Rehearsal schedules will be annouced one month at a time and will be based on the conflicts given at auditions.  If you have other conflicts arrise, we may not be able to accommodate them once rehearsals begin.  Please be thorough when listing your conflicts.
• If you miss more than 2 rehearsals you will be removed from the production.
• Tech week rehearsals are mandatory.
• Any conflicts that arise after casting will be problematic.

• If cast, a $50 production fee per dancer will be due by Wed. July 22nd.
• This production is a fundraiser for Millennium Repertory Company. As a result, no tickets will be affiliated with your production fee. Tickets will go on sale in October. Tickets will be $15. Cast members will have one week to purchase tickets before they go on sale (first come, first served) to the general public.
• Dancers will be responsible for providing their own shoes, tights, undergarments and makeup.

• Costumes will be provided by/borrowed from DRD. However, depending on the number, dancers may be asked to provide supplementary pieces (black leggings, white shirt, etc.)
